Long-term re-review
The useful test is whether it keeps earning a place in the family routine after the first few weeks.
A practical editorial status based on the current product set, not a guarantee of future use.
A sandbox with a working excavator and six accessories (3+ yrs, up to 45.3kg of sand); the lid doubles as a truck ramp, which is a play feature, not a seal, so add a cover if wildlife is a risk.

KidCritic verdict

Still worth it after 12 months? MOSTLY
Still used for projects, but the best materials need topping up.
A genuinely open-ended craft box with enough materials to keep the first idea from being the last. It feels considered rather than overstuffed.
