Affiliate disclosure

KidCritic uses affiliate links and paid advertisement features. These are different commercial arrangements.

Affiliate links: Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you use an affiliate link and complete the relevant purchase or other qualifying action, KidCritic receives a commission or other performance-based payment from the retailer. The amount may vary by retailer, product and qualifying action. The existence or amount of that commission does not determine whether a product appears in Our Top Picks, its ranking, its rating or our editorial verdict. Our recommendation tool must not be influenced by commission rate or commercial payment.

Paid advertisement features: KidCritic currently has no paid advertisers and carries no paid advertisement features. If that ever changes, a paid advertisement feature — a placement for which a brand pays KidCritic a fee — would be labelled Advertisement feature, kept separate from independent editorial content, and not treated as an independent editorial recommendation or included in Our Top Picks unless separately identified and assessed under KidCritic’s independent editorial process.

How links are marked: Where a page or section is advertising, we identify it before or at the point where a reader first engages with it. Individual affiliate links or product references are also identified where necessary. A footer disclosure alone is not sufficient.
